About the Game

Block Smash Flow is a relaxing block puzzle game. Place colorful tetromino blocks on a grid, complete full rows or columns to clear them, and chain combos for big scores. Plan your moves—when no blocks fit, the game ends!

How to Play

Basic Controls

Drag – Touch and drag a block from the hold area above the grid, then release it where you want to place it.
Tap to rotate – Tap a block (without dragging) to rotate it 90°. Use this to find the best fit before placing.

Gameplay

Fill an entire row or column to clear it and score points.
Cleared lines vanish with a visual effect and free up space.
Chain multiple line clears in one move for bonus points.
A new block appears after each placement. When no block can fit anywhere, the game ends.

Preview

The NEXT area shows the upcoming block so you can plan ahead.

Difficulty Modes

Tap Mode to open the difficulty selector. Each mode uses a different grid size:

Difficulty	Grid Size	Notes
Easy	9×9	More space, more room to plan
Normal	8×8	Balanced challenge
Hard	7×7	Tighter grid, higher difficulty

Each difficulty has its own high score saved locally.

Scoring

Points depend on how many lines you clear at once:

Lines cleared	Base points
1	100
2	250
3	500
4	800
5+	1,200+

Consecutive line clears (combos) multiply your score. The high score is saved per difficulty and shown in-game.

In-Game Buttons

Mode – Open difficulty selection and start a new game with a different grid size.
Restart – Restart the current game without changing difficulty.
? – Open the how-to-play tutorial.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I place a block?

Drag the block from the top area onto the grid and release it over empty cells. The block snaps into place if it fits.

Can I rotate blocks?

Yes. Tap a block (don’t drag) to rotate it 90°.

What happens when I clear a line?

The row or column disappears, you earn points, and the blocks above fall down to fill the gap.

My high score disappeared. Why?

High scores are stored only on your device. Deleting the app or its data will reset them.

Does the game need internet?

No. Block Smash Flow works fully offline.

What iOS versions are supported?

The app supports iOS 13.0 and later.

Troubleshooting

App not responding – Force quit the app and reopen it. Ensure you’re running the latest version from the App Store.

Touch not registering – Make sure your finger isn’t too far from the block when dragging. Try a short tap first if rotation doesn’t work.

Blocks not fitting – Tap to rotate and try different placements. In Hard mode, the 7×7 grid leaves less room—plan several moves ahead.
